Chaitra Navratri is nine days festival which starts

on the first day of Hindu Luni-Solar calendar.

Chaitra is the first month of Hindu lunar calendar and

therefore this Navratri is known as Chaitra Navratri.

Chaitra Navratri is also known as Vasanta Navratri.

Rama Navami, the birthday of Lord Rama usually

falls on the ninth day of festivity.

All nine days during Navratri are dedicated to nine forms of Goddess Shakti.

Navratri Day 2 - Sindhara Dooj, Dwitiya - 26th March 2020

Navratri Day 3 - Gaur Teej, Saubhagya Teej, Tritiya - 27th March 2020

Navratri Day 4 - Varadvinayak Chaturthi - 28th March 2020

Navratri Day 5 - Sri Laxmi Panchami Vrat, Naag Vrat Pujan - 29th March 2020

Navratri Day 6 - Skand Shashthi, Yamuna Jayanti - 30th March 2020

Navratri Day 7 - Mahasaptami Vrat, Chaiti Chat, Vijaya Saptami - 31st March 2020

Navratri Day 8 - Sri Durga Mahaashtami, Annapurna Ashtami - 1st April 2020

Navratri Day 9 - Vasant Navaratri ends, Ram Navami - 2nd April 2020

The puja and fasting vidhi is the same in all Navratris.

In Maharashtra Chaitra Navratri begins with Gudi Padwa and
in Andhra Pradesh it begins with Ugadi.
